In the Banyuwangi, There are Endog-endogan Festival. Endog-endogan Festival is the events using the unique eggs and ornamental banana stem as the main things. The purpose of banana stem is the place to plug the decorative eggs. Endog derived from Using language, It means the eggs. Every years, The city held a parade through major road. They (parade participants) must bring the eggs and and banana stem. and When we see the parade, there are the colorful atmosphere in the parade route. The parade also held in every villages. Beside that, Endog-endogan Festival also held in the every mosque or school. They decorate their room with eggs, banana stem and colorful paper. Usually, If we held this events in the mosque. We (Banyuwangish) begin the events with praying to Allah. And then, the religious leaders begins his lecture and eat rice and eggs together.
