Sego Tempong

The tittle on the top has meaning as Slap Rice in engilsh.
Why must slap? Because, Sego tempong is one of very hot (spicy) culinary. So, if you eat it. You'll get the slapped sense. Sego Tempong is Banyuwangi specific food. In the Banyuwangi, there are many stall in the edge of the road who sells Sego tempong. Ussually, the contains are many various of vegetables such as spinach, kenikir, basil. Fish, and the main thing is sambal that very spicy.

Let's check the recipe of Sego Tempong
Materias
:
Sambal 's materials:
• a half fang of garlic
• 5 chilis
• a tomato
• a fried shrimp paste

Vegetables :
• boiled green vegetables (spinach, kenikir or etc)
• boiled bean sprouts
• some sliced of cucumber

Steps:
1. Garlic, chili and tomato is fried and then put together a fried shrimp paste into mortar and pur
2. Add the sugar and salt optionally
3. Next, put the rice, vegetables, fish, tempe and fried tofu on the prepared banana leaves as the plate
4. Sego tempong ready to serve.

Very easy, isn't it? Interested to try. Okay
